The price of a gallon of regular gasoline exceeded $6 dollars in Los Angeles County for the first time since April 1

For the first time since April 1, a gallon of regular self-service gasoline is quoted this Sunday at more than $6 dollars in Los Angeles County.

Fuel had an increase of 3.8 cents, to reach $6.013 dollars per gallon, a price above $6 dollars, something that is not registered for a month and a half.

During 18 consecutive days, gasoline has had increases for a total of 23.9 cents, including 5.6 cents that was recorded on Saturday and which represents its largest increase since 13 March, according to data from the American Automobile Association (AAA) and the Oil Price Information Service.

The regular gasoline in Los Angeles County is 13.8 cents more expensive than a week, 20.4 cents higher than a month ago and $1.843 more expensive than a year ago. It is 5.7 cents cheaper than 17 in March , when a record price of $6 was reached.07 Dollars.

In Orange County, the gallon of regular fuel rose to its highest amount since 30 in March, at $5.997 dollars, after an increase of 5.3 cents.

Gasoline has registered increases in 17 of the last 18 days, increasing 28.6 cents, including 7 cents this Saturday, for its biggest increase since 10 of March.

In Orange County, the average self-service price of a gallon of regular gasoline it is 15. 6 cents more expensive than a week ago, 17.3 cents higher than a month ago and $1.997 dollars more expensive than a year ago. It is 3.2 cents cheaper than the record set on 29 March, when it reached $6.20 dollars.

The national average price of self-service regular gasoline had an increase of 1.8 cents this Sunday, to reach a record $4.029 dollars per gallon.
