Violent accident left 3 people dead on Highway 118, in Granada Hills

Three people died this Saturday night when the car they were traveling in caught fire after having a crash on the highway 118 (Ronald Reagan), in Grenada Hills.

The accident, in which two vehicles were involved, was reported at 07: 59 pm on the expressway heading east, just west of the Expressway 405 (San Diego), reported Officer Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department. Angeles (LAFD).

The authorities said that the three people were declared dead in the place where the incident occurred.

A person traveling in The other car involved in the mishap was taken to a hospital by LAFD paramedics to be treated for their injuries.

Until now, the authorities have not released the identity of the three people who died or the person who was injured.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) issued a SigAlert for all lanes of the Expressway 118 eastbound, except for the lane of intended for shared trips.

The highway transition also remained closed 100 Eastbound to Highway 405 in a south and north direction while the investigations were carried out.
