He was saved: Mike Tyson will not face charges for the beating he gave a passenger on a plane

A few days ago the video went around the world in which Mike Tyson repeatedly hits a passenger on board an airplane. At that time there was talk that the former boxer could get into a big legal jam; however, that possibility no longer exists, because the authorities desisted from filing criminal charges against him.

The The San Mateo County Prosecutor’s Office reported Tuesday that it filed the case and decided not to press charges after evaluating “the circumstances surrounding the altercation.”

“These include the behavior of the victim to cause the incident, the interaction between Mr. Mike Tyson and the victim, as well as the requests of both the victim and Mr. Tyson to that no charges be filed“, reads the statement signed by prosecutor Stephen Wagstaffe.

It is worth mentioning that the affected party did not cooperate with the investigation, on the contrary, also wanted there to be no criminal charges.

For their part, Iron Mike’s representatives argued that “an aggressive passenger started harassing him and threw a bottle of water while he was in his seat”. Perhaps that is why the beaten man did not want to go deeper into the investigation.

What is a fact is that in the clip of 550 from April watches as Tyson repeatedly punches the unidentified man in the head until he bleeds. According to TMZ, the medium that released the video, this happened on a Jet Blue flight to Florida.
