Finally it was not the messages and provocations of the Californian fighter Ryan García those who managed to get a fight between him and the Mexican Isaac ‘Pitbull’ Cruz , but the World Boxing Council (WBC) that “forces” them to agree to a clash.

Various sports media, including ESPN, they had access to a statement in which the WBC orders both fighters , faces of the relay generation with different fighting styles, who agree to a eliminatory fight for the lightweight title .

Always active on social media, the ‘KingRy’ posted a message on Instagram and Twitter stating how satisfied he is with the decision and the long-awaited opportunity to seek a championship.

“Little chance this man will escape his fate when he enters the ring with me”

For his part, Pitbull Cruz does not know has expressed so far regarding this decision of the WBC.

In the event that the promoters of both boxers, García represented by Óscar de la Hoya’s Golden Boy Promotions and Cruz with Premier Boxing Champions, do not reach an agreement, an auction will be held on 11 of June.

The winner of the clash García vs. Cross, both of 10 years of age, will have a shot at the WBC title of the 135 pounds (lightweight) held by Davin Haney.

Although the final contender could change on June 4 when Henay puts his championship on the line against George Kambosos in a unification match.
