enrolled this Sunday in the quarterfinals of the Mexican Clausura Tournament by beating Mazatlán for 3-1 in a penalty shootouts thanks to the magical hands of the Paraguayan goalkeeper Antony Silva, who stopped two pitches.

The playoff match ended 2-2 in regular time. Diego de Buen and Argentine Juan Pablo Segovia scored for Puebla, led by Argentine coach Nicolás Larcamón, while Brian Rubio and Néstor Vidrio did it for Mazatlán.

In the series of penalties, the Argentine Federico Mancuello, Diego de Buen and Israel Reyes converted for the Pueblans. Miguel Sansores was the only scorer for Mazatlán, a team led by Argentine Gabriel Caballero.
