The unprecedented boom that the electric car market has experienced in recent years continues to surprise. Every day there are more companies that decide to bet on hybrids and total electrification, even in the short term, of all their successful models.

In turn, the electric motor does not need such frequent maintenance as it does not have moving parts subject to friction or high temperatures. In addition, the electric car, despite having only been gaining strength in the market for a few years, has more than proven technology. In fact, electric motors were invented before combustion motors, only for different reasons they were left aside for years.
Another of the key elements of an electric car are the batteries, since they give it the autonomy it needs. Although, like all products up to now, batteries deteriorate and have a certain useful life, this is estimated to be more than ten years in which if no anomaly is noted, maintenance is null. In addition, its duration will depend on the use that is given to it.
Apart from the motor system and batteries, the maintenance of an electric car and a thermal car is quite similar. This is because the running gear, suspensions, brakes are identical to traditional cars. Although in the case of the brakes they are less likely to degrade quickly because they have regenerative technology.
