From Bad Bunny to Eiza González: They are the Latinos who conquered the MET Gala 2022

Last Monday afternoon another edition of the MET Gala, and on this occasion, the Latin talent adorned the red carpet with stunning (and interesting) looks that honored this year’s theme, Gilded Glamor (glamour bathed in gold).

As is customary, the Metropolitan Museum of Art , located in New York, was the venue where dozens of the most influential stars in the world met to celebrate the best of fashion. Here we share with you those celebrities who put Latin America on high with their presence!

J Balvin

Colombian singer J Balvin stomped during his appearance on the red carpet of the event , as he dressed like a gentleman of the old time while wearing a suit that bore the Moschino stamp.

It was a classic cut jacket, with a long skirt, tailored pants and White shirt. The final touch of elegance was given by the cane that he carried at all times.

Eiza González

From Mexico to the world. The protagonist of the film “Ambulance”, Eiza González , became the topic of conversation on social networks for the stunning Michael Kors dress that she wore.

This piece outlined the stylized her figure and highlighted it with a deep V neckline , full of sequins. In addition, she wore a diamond necklace that gave her a glamorous and vintage touch to her outfit, spectacular!

Bad Bunny

Without a doubt, one of the most talked about artists of the night was the Puerto Rican Bad Bunny , who broke new ground by walking the catwalk in a beige ensemble with a long Burberry-style skirt . Anitta

The interpreter of “Envolver”, Anitta, put the name of Brazil on high when arriving on the red carpet with a purple dress by Moschino that highlighted her sensuality.

This piece stood out for its pronounced neckline and various pearl applications that paid homage to luxury and elegance of the golden age.

Camila Cabello

Mexican-American singer Camila Cabello was not far behind and made her arrival at the MET Gala wearing a dress that stole the public’s attention .

We are talking about a white two-piece dress by Prabal Gurung, whose flower details were hand-painted and took just over a month to make, she looked like a princess!

Rosalia

Although Spain was the country where the singer was born Rosalía, millions of Latinos have adopted the famous one as one of them, as she has raised music in Spanish.

For her second appearance at the MET Gala, the singer proudly wore a tight and ostentatious beaded dress signed by Matthew Williams for Givenchy.

Xiye Bastida

The Mexican activist opted for a total black look made up of a blazer, straight pants and a woven crop top with fringes at the ankle. He also represented Mexico by wearing Otomi handmade jewelry and a jade necklace.
