'Spider-Man' actor Tobey Maguire to play Charles Chaplin in 'Babylon'

After his surprise appearance in “Spiderman: No Way Home”, Tobey Maguire will be part of the movie “Babylon”, from Paramount Pictures, in which he will play the iconic director and actor Charles Chaplin.

The film is a tribute to the golden age of Hollywood in the twenties, when the film industry made the transition from silent cinema to productions with sound. The film is directed by the Oscar winner Damien Chazelle, director of “La La Land” and “Whiplash”.

Maguire will share the cast in this film with big stars like Margot Robbie , Olivia Wilde, Brad Pitt, Spike Jonze, Flea, the Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist, among many others.
