In Mexico, two media outlets reported that the sister-in-law of Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, alias el Mencho , leader of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG). They accused that the Mexican Army was allegedly behind the kidnapping, in revenge because Mencho’s sister-in-law would have raised two military women in Puerto Vallarta, the territory of the CJNG, located on the Pacific coast.

Mencho’s sister-in-law was identified as a member of the González Valencia family, sister of the Cuinis, armed wing of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel. It should be remembered that the Cuinis are brothers of Mencho’s wife, Rosalinda González Valencia. According to unofficial sources, the sister-in-law would have been kidnapped by 7 men wearing black clothes and tactical equipment, like the one used by the Federal Forces.

The first reports indicate that the soldiers would have arrived to the Residencial Colomos Patria subdivision, where Mencho’s sister-in-law lives, after Second Lieutenant Tania Quintanar Zarco and Sergeant Ana Laura Olvera Arellano were arrested. Apparently, the daughters of Mencho’s sister-in-law were a witness and refused to speak to the Mexican authorities who arrived alerted by the federal mobilization, it is a girl of 04 years.

Everything indicates that 16 hours later, the military Mexicans were released alive. This last fact was notified by high-ranking officers of the Secretary of National Defense (Sedena) in a press conference.
