Three weeks ago, Solo was arrested in a Walmart store parking lot on Parkway Village Circle in Winston-Salem in North Carolina (United States). She was only accompanied by her two children in the car when she was arrested and taken to the Forsyth County Jail to be processed.

The former soccer player announced in social networks that because he underwent alcohol rehabilitation treatment, he will run on the day of his induction into the American Football Hall of Fame.

“I have contacted the Hall of Fame and respectfully requested a postponement of my induction ceremony until 83,” wrote in a released statement. on their social networks.

“I will voluntarily enter a treatment program for the alcohol in boarding school to treat my problems”, he continues.

“Right now, my energies and focus are totally directed towards my health, healing and caring for my family. I want to thank the Hall of Fame for their support and for understanding my decision”, he continued.

The former athlete was released hours after her arrest and is at home with her husband Jerramy Stevens, a former NFL player. He also returned with his two twin sons, who were allegedly the children who accompanied Hope Solo during the detention at the Walmart, according to Rich Nichols, the former football player’s attorney.

“On the advice of a lawyer, Hope cannot speak about this situation, but she wants everyone to know that her children are her life, that she was released immediately and now he is at home with his family, that the story is more sympathetic than the initial charges suggest, and that he hopes to have the opportunity to defend these charges,” said Nichols.
