The initial results of the autopsy of Lily Peters, the girl of 10 years since she was murdered in Chippewa Falls County, Wisconsin, she died from blunt force trauma and strangulation, reported the coroner.

County Coroner Ronald Patten said an autopsy on Illiana “Lily” Peters listed the manner of death as homicide. Toxicology test results are also expected within four to six weeks. However, Patten did not want to make any further comments about it.

It was revealed that the girl disappeared after she did not return home her aunt’s in Chippewa Falls. While searching for her, they found her bicycle abandoned near her relative’s house. Her body was found Monday morning on a walking trail.

On Wednesdays a teenager 14 years old was charged by local prosecutors and will be tried in adult court for first degree intentional homicide in the death of Peters, first degree sexual assault, and first degree sexual assault of a minor 13 years that resulted in serious bodily harm, AP reported.

For his part, the district attorney, Wade Newell, said that after being arrested, the young man confessed that he intended to commit the crime “when he left the house with the victim.”

After describing the horrible details of Peters’ assault and murder, Newel asked the judge, Benjamin Lane, to set the killer’s bail at $1 million in cash.

So the teen’s public defender, Kirby Harless, argued that the bail was too high and asked that the amount be reduced to 100,000 Dollars.
