Florida sheriff arrests his daughter after learning she was dealing drugs

The sheriff of the Franklin police office arrested her daughter, after learning that she was engaged in to distribute methamphetamine and was singled out by a drug dealer.

A man arrived at the city police station who had been arrested for being a drug dealer, during the interrogation, the suspect had to reveal several names, among them Kristen Kent, when Sheriff AJ Smith heard it, he couldn’t believe it because it was his daughter, who is the mother of three children.

After being identified as a supplier of methamphetamines, the bailiff together with his A team of officers had to conduct an investigation as well as an undercover operation in order to arrest their own daughter.

Last 18 April, Kristen Kent’s 25 years and Bailey Adaire Lee of 25, were left in the custody of the Franklin police station, and face various charges.

Sheriff AJ Smith gave an interview in the Washington Post, where he confessed that when the name was revealed, his first reaction was to say: “My daughter?”.

“I felt really bad about it, but I also knew that the amount of drugs she was selling was unbelievable and that I had to stop her”, said Smith.

Through his Facebook profile, Sheriff Smith shared the arrest, where he posted two photos, one of his daughter Kristen and another of his accomplice Bailey Adaire, as well as the product that was confiscated. She also reported that methamphetamines do not discriminate against anyone and if someone is guilty they will be arrested.

“Meth does not discriminate and neither do we. It doesn’t matter who you are. No one is immune or exempt “, he wrote in the post.

Kristen Kent is charged with trafficking in amphetamines or methamphetamine from 14 grams or more; also for possession and use of methamphetamine and cocaine, possession of equipment to produce drugs.

For her part, Bailey Adaire Lee is accused of two counts of trafficking amphetamines or methamphetamine from 14 grams or more. Both women will have to face federal authorities to receive a sentence.

AJ Smith also revealed in the interview that his daughter had problems with drug use ago 15 years old, but they sent her to rehabilitation and thought that everything was already arranged, since the woman worked in an office and was dedicated to her three children.
