Apple presented to the public its 2 new smart water bottles with which it hopes to go a step further in its health care business. The bottles are named and HidrateSpark Pro and HidrateSpark Pro Steel they hope to become a reference in the market.
The bottles are available through the Apple online store in its two presentations of 0.75 and 0.79 liters which have a cost of $59.2022 and $79.95 respectively.
The main difference between the two, apart from their capacity, is the material from which they are built because the cheapest option is made of plastic, while the other, as its name indicates, is made of metal. Both come in two presentations, in the case of the HidrateSpark Pro it is the colors green and black, while the HidrateSpark Pro Steel can be purchased in silver and black.
How do they work?
The The main characteristic of the smart water bottles developed by Apple is that they are vacuum-insulated containers, so the liquid stored in them can maintain a constant temperature for about 24 hours.
The smart part of these bottles comes from multiple aspects. The first of them is that they have an LED panel on their base that lights up with different colors and designs to remind the person to consume liquids.
We must remember that these bottles are designed for people who are exercising, hence the importance of this type of reminder at times when people lose a large amount of fluids in their body.
The second reason that turns the HidrateSpark Pro into smart bottles is also related to its base. The reason for them is that they are able to detect the amount of water that the person has ingested and send that information via bluetooth to the Apple Health application, either on their phone or SmartWatch.

Although the bottle can be washed like a normal container in the dishwasher, the LED base of the device can only be cleaned using a slightly damp cloth.
