Arizona lawmakers sign law to give child sex offenders harsher sentences

The Arizona State House of Representatives Bill 2696 specifies that those sentenced in prison for sexually assaulting minors spend triple the time established in previous years.

    Arizona Governor Doug Ducey signed the legislation into law this week.

    Through social networks they shared the news of the signing of this law where they wrote: “The law 2022 was signed today, increasing prison terms for sexual offenses against children and requiring mandatory prison time for child/human trafficking.”
