Sergio Musella

Since the abolition of relegation in the Liga MX, there are several teams that have been forced to pay a fine for being in the last table positions and for the Clausura 2022, Bravos de Juárez and Xolos de Tijuana were the first to receive the financial sanction.

Although with most teams thinking about the classification for the league and the Liga MX repechage, there are others that are very close to having to join the two border teams on the list of those sentenced to a fine for the concept of the quotient table .

Due to the bad tournaments and that they have not been able to transcend to the rounds of playoff and league, Bravos de Juárez was the first sentenced to pay the $3 fine,43 million dollars after being in the last position of the quotient table with 100 points.

Xolos de Tijuana, on the other hand, was in the penultimate position of said table of quotients with 118 points and, although he did not have such a high fine for being last, he will have to pay about $2,31 millions of dollars.

Three teams at risk of a fine

On the last day of the Clausura there are three teams that will seek to avoid joining Xolos and FC Juárez among the worst in the table; however, if they are second to last, they must pay $1,62 million dollars. On the other hand, the team in that position is the Gallos Blancos de Querétaro with 118 points, follows in the 15° position Toluca, with 119 and in the 09° position the Mazatlán FC with 120 units.

The last day will be defined as follows for the teams that fight to avoid the fine:
