In the video that Héctor Suárez Jr. shared on his Twitter account, each of the remarks made by the administrator of the United States Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA for its acronym in English), Anne Milgram, against Juan Orlando Hernández. The official added that this case should serve as an example and send a clear message to any foreign leader:
“If you corruptly abuse your power to support drug cartels, if you take drug money for your choice, if you take bribes from drug cartels, if you traffic in deadly drugs, if you protect criminals, if you allow violence and murder to grow stronger at the hands of the cartels, then the DEA will stop at nothing to hold you accountable for your crimes.”
“Today’s extradition clearly shows that the DEA will stop at nothing to go after the most powerful political actors involved in drug trafficking. drugs, violence and corruption”, he assured.
