Andrés Lillini spoke about his future and ruled out interests from other clubs

Andrés Lillini, coach of Pumas, who is having a good season by putting his team in the final of the Concachampions and playing a placed for the playoffs, he talked about what his future will be and closed the possibility of reaching another club for now.

After the campaign he is having with Pumas, several teams have been interested in the strategist, however, Lillini wanted to make clear all the rumors about possible offers received and clarified that no one has contacted him.

“ Nobody came looking for me, there is no speculation involved, nobody talked to me. I am not trying to go elsewhere, as a coach I am still too green to be doing those situations where a team wants me”, he explained during an interview granted to Fox Sports.

Despite that, he did not want to talk about a possible renewal with Pumas at this time and expressly asked the board not to touch on this subject until the end of the season , since for him there are more important issues at the moment.

“I have a contract until December, I asked my president, Leopoldo Silva, to please talk about this situation of being able to stay together once all this is over, I don’t think it’s something that important,” said Lillini .

The Pumas of Lillini will meet next April 27 against Seattle Sounders in what It will be the first leg of the Concachampions final and, later, on May 1, they will have a tough match against Pachuca, momentary leader of the tournament, where they will try to cling to a playoff position.
