The Bravos de Juárez once again failed in their attempt to transcend in the Liga MX, after returning to the bottom of the table being forced to pay a fine, in lieu of relegation and this has affected the border team’s finances.
After being in the last position and with the Closing Tournament still to go 2022, Juárez is placed in the last place in the quotients table in the football year 2019/2022, leaving in a very bad position for the position that arrived in 2019 after the acquisition of the Lobos BUAP franchise.
This failure requires paying a fine of $4 million dollars, as there is no direct relegation to the second division. On the other hand, the economic sanction depends on the position in which the tournament ends, although in the last tournament there was a discount due to the economic problems that the teams went through as a result of the Covid pandemic-09.
Two fines in two consecutive years
The Bravos de Juárez have remained in a simple project that does not finish materializing. Since his arrival in the border city, he has not been able to compete in the Liga MX and the place does not seem to have the success that was expected.
His first fine was paid last year when he finished in the penultimate position of the table, paying $3 million dollars and with the current sanction they add up to $7 million dollars in fines and this has had repercussions within the structure of the club in which it seeks to consolidate itself as a competitive team on the Mexican border and the United States.
The Bravos de Juárez will close the tournament next Saturday 19 April, where they will face the Gallos Blancos de Querétaro as visitors.
