The Mexican team will face a new World Cup with the intention of playing a better role than in previous World Cups. In Qatar 2022 El Tri will face Argentina, Saudi Saudi Arabia and Poland, the latter a direct rival. The greatest danger for the Poles is their feared scorer Robert Lewandowski. Given the danger of the Bayern Munich attacker , Gerardo Martino begins to receive some advice to stop it.
From scorer by scorer, Claudio Pizarro threw some clues on how to stop the Pole. The former Peruvian striker forged a successful career in the Bavarian team and also fulfilled a function with characteristics very similar to those of Lewandowski. In this sense, the South American shows the way to “Tata”.
“With all the experience he has gained, Robert has become a very difficult player to contain and without a doubt it will be difficult for Mexico to contain (…) It is very difficult, he is a player who must be marked by two footballers , but you always have to keep an eye on him because he is a lethal player, ”explained the former attacker in an interview for the Bundesliga organization, compiled by Depor.
Mexicans in Germany
Much has been said about the absence of Aztec players in the Bundesliga. Although some agree that the main problem has to do with the price of soccer players, Claudio Pizarro assures that, despite the talent of the Mexicans, adaptation is still a great problem to stay in German football.
“Mexico has good players and we know it. They are always in all the World Cups, they give a lot to talk about. One of the most difficult things that happens to Mexicans is the adaptation to German football because it comes with a language issues, climate, cultural changes (…) Many teams have already had this type of problem and that is why it is very difficult to turn to look at Latin America , and as a result of that, there are not the number of Latin American players that there were before”, he explained.
