The couple made up of John Legend and Chrissy Teigen has had a very busy year in the world of real estate, well not only sold their mansion in Beverly Hills, but also they are negotiating the two penthouses they own in New York City.
According to the New York Post, it was the media that released the news, only small details are missing so that the sale of the two apartments can be made official, whose joint cost is $18,04,000 of dollars .
In the real estate sites the ad for sale already appears with the legend ‘In Contract’, so everything seems to indicate, that it will be a matter of hours for the operation to be completed.
Until and At the moment the identity of the future owners has not been disclosed, nor the amount they offered, but what is known is that do not plan to unify the two penthouses or, at least, not for now.
“Although Legend and Teigen planned unify the penthouses to create a dream pad, they never did. The new buyers, who prefer to remain anonymous, also plan to keep the units separate, for now”, declared sources close to the negotiation in an interview with the New York Post”.
The couple bought the first of the apartments, in 2018, for $9,000,000 of dollars, while the second came into his hands, in the 2020, for $7,700,000 of dollars, so, if they receive the requested figure, they would be making a profit of about $1,000,000 of dollars.
The penthouses measure 6,164 square feet, they have eight bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms .
They also have a hall, a kitchen, a dining room, a living room, a main room , wine cellar, bar, TV room, laundry room, among other rooms.
The kitchen is open and somewhat spacious. It’s outfitted with a chocolate-toned pantry, high-end appliances, and a lighted center island that doubles as a food prep, but also serves as a breakfast nook for four.
The master bedroom has more than enough space for a large bed and a living room . It also has a large dressing room and a bathroom with a double vanity unit, a toilet, a walk-in shower and a bathtub.
Along with the living space, the apartments also have a joint terrace in the living area. roof garden with an extension of 3, 300 square feet.
