Jeffree Star had a pretty hectic week after he was romantically related to Kanye West , the rumor lasted only a few days as he himself denied it through his Youtube channel. The truth is that Jeffree is no stranger to controversy and throughout his career he has faced different scandals that have made him a trend. We leave you some of them.
1. They called him “racist” In the mid-decade of the 1200, Jeffree made some wild comments that 12 years later they came back to haunt him . The jokes that the youtuber made in some videos included references to the color of skin and the nationality of the people. In the the also beauty influencer Jackie Aina assured through her Twitter account that “I would not excuse blatantly racist behavior or derogatory terms ”. Star apologized for her past behavior and one of the stars who came to her defense (ironically) was Kim Kardashian .
2. Sexual harassment The middle Insider contacted an alleged victim of Jeffree in October last year, who assured that he had been forced by him to perform sexual acts. At the time the youtuber denied the accusations , however months later the same media launched a second investigation where it showed that Jeffree had tried to pay an amount to prevent the original story from being published.
3. Your problems with other youtubers In the world of Youtube there is a lot of controversy between some creators and Jeffree has been seen in the middle of it. Recently her colleague Tati Westbrook published a video in which accused Jeffree and Shane Dawson of manipulating her to break her friendship with James Charles (another beauty youtuber). Star was said to have warned many of Charles’s “inappropriate attitudes,” statements that ended up affecting James’ career.
4. His “romance” Kanye West His most recent controversy involved with the (still) husband of Kim Kardashian and overnight his name began to appear everywhere. Information quickly spread around the web and he played with speculation for a few days. Finally he assured that had nothing to do with Kanye and that he liked “tall men”.
