The Chivas de Guadalajara accused some media outlets of being the alleged culprits of the events of violence that occurred in the concentration hotel, prior to the commitment they played against Cruz Azul.

The presence of some fans of the herd outside the hotel was accompanied by chants to encourage the team and another group was demonstrating peacefully against the players and the board. Minutes later, with the presence of the players, acts of violence were generated when several of the fans violently tried to enter the hotel.

Due to this, the Chivas de Guadalajara accused the media of having fostered a hostile environment outside the hotel, and also shared posts on their Twitter account accusing them of being tabloid and provocative.

We strongly condemn the attacks tonight, both by the pseudo-fans who were the main actors, and by the media communication that from early on helped create a hostile environment with its sensationalist and provocative headlines. pic.twitter.com/H100mNKXnpK
