Democratic donor sentenced to 30 years in prison for drugging and killing two men

Ed Buck who was a Democratic activist and donor was sentenced for a federal judge in Los Angeles to 30 years in prison for the death of two men whom he had previously drugged with heavy doses of methamphetamine.

According to court reports, Ed Buck of 55 For years he was a regular visitor to a gay website where he advertised his love of parties and “the game”, a term they use to disguise methamphetamine. One of the witnesses said that he visited Buck’s apartment at one of the parties and noticed that the defendant was injecting the men with the drug.

According to the information provided by the witnesses, Ed Buck did these actions on constant occasions during the sex parties he organized, in addition injected men with methamphetamine when they were unconscious, the Los Angeles Times reported.

“Buck does not value human life beyond his own. He used human beings as playthings, destroying their lives, simply to appease his own sexual gratifications

“wrote Assistant US Attorney Chelsea Norell to Judge Christina Snyder.

Ed Buck was charged in July of last year, after discovering the deaths of two men; Gemmel Moore, aged 26, who died of an overdose in 2017 and Timothy Dean aged 67 years old, who died under the same circumstances in 2019.

The prosecutors detailed that he attracted the two men to sex parties, who were dependent on substances.

“This defendant preyed on vulnerable victims, men who were drug dependent and often homeless, to fuel an obsession that led to their deaths and misery,” said Tracy L. Wilkison, the federal district attorney.

After the deaths of the two men, who were gay and black, were made public, a series demonstrations were held in front of his apartment building demanding justice for the two victims , but he was charged until September 2019 and arrested in July of last year.

Ed Buck made donations to Democratic candidates since the year 2000 with an estimate of $500,000 Dollars.
