Man in Mexico commits suicide after losing his puppies to poisoning

The death of a pet can become a real tragedy, however, for a man in Puebla, southern Mexico, the sadness was even deeper, which led him to take his own life.

According to authorities, a man around 50 years old, took his own life inside his home . A family member found him hanging when he came to visit him, so he immediately requested the help of the emergency services.

Despite the speed of the help, when assessing this person, they realized that he no longer had vital signs, so he was declared clinically dead.

Elements of the Municipal Police were the ones who proceeded to cordon off the area, while Personnel from the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) carried out the removal of the body, as well as its transfer to the amphitheater for the official autopsy.

According to the first reports this man lived alone and was apparently going through a depression, after his dogs were poisoned in recent days and died, so it is presumed that this situation could motivate him to decide to go out through the back door.

Suicide, defined by the World Health Organization as the deliberate act of taking one’s own life, is currently a public health problem that entails a tragedy for people. families and for society and which, unfortunately, has been gradually growing nationally and globally, also worsening with the dangerous increase in figures in childhood and adolescence. It can already be considered as “the other pandemic”.
