Stacy Ann Ferguson, better known as Fergie, was born on 27 March 1975 in Hacienda Heights, California, USA
His stage name is actually a family nickname that both his father and grandfather carry.
While attending John F. Kennedy High School with Renee Sands and Stefanie Riddle, formed the band Wild Orchid in 1990.
The band released their self-titled debut album on 1996 with hit songs like ‘Talk to Me’, ‘At Night I Pray’ and ‘Supernatural’ . Sold more than thousand copies in the United States. They then released three more albums, Oxygen (1996), Fire (2001) and Hypnotic (2003), which were moderately successful.
Fergie left the group in September 2001, and in an interview five years later she stated that she made the decision because she felt frustrated with the band’s public image and her drug-related problems.
The singer was affected by addiction to methamphetamine, but he recovered and tried to get his career back on track.
Joined the group ‘Black Eyed Peas’ and with its first release in 2003: ‘ Elephunk’, with chart-topping songs like ‘Where is the Love’, ‘Shut Up’ and ‘Hey Mamma’.
It was a great success and the group won a Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance in the Group or Duo category for their song ‘Let’s Get It Started’ at 2005.
Fergie became the main performer of the band, whose next album, ‘Monkey Business’, was released in 2005 and was certified triple platinum by the RIAA, ranked No. 2 on the Billboard from USA
The artist with the band received three Grammy Awards for Best Pop Vocal Album for the album END, Best Pop Vocal Performance by a group for the song ‘I Gotta Feeling’ and Best Short Video for ‘Boom Boom Pow’.
Fergie fulfilled her dream of releasing her debut solo album entitled ‘The Dutchess’ in 2007, which was a commercial success. The album included world chart-topping songs like ‘London Bridge’ with will.i.am and ‘Glamorous’ with Ludacris.
The ballad ‘Big Girls Don’t Cry’ became the most successful song in Europe. Singles from the album were huge hits in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the United States. She then released a single ‘LA Love (La La)’ on 2014, which was loved by her fans. .
The single ‘MILF$’ was released on July 1, 2016 and the video was conceptualized by her and included other famous moms like Kim Kardashian and Ciara.
Fergie has designed two collections of bags for the fashion brand Kipling, North America. She is one of the Avon brand ambassadors and has launched three exclusive perfumes: Outspoken Intense, Viva and Outspoken Fresh. Fergie, at 2007, has appeared in various advertisements for shoe, clothing, and candy companies.
