The Mexican team did not recognize the field where they will play the match against Honduras

The Mexican team had planned to reconnoiter the Honduran Metropolitan Olympic Stadium for this Sunday’s game against the Honduran team.

The Mexican players could not make the reconnaissance because the San Pedro Sula field had a blanket that protects the grass due to bad weather conditions affecting the Honduran city this weekend, reported the TUDN chain.

El Tri carried out training this Saturday on the field of the Morazán Stadium, known as La Bombonerita, and hoping that the state of the field of the Metropolitan Olympic Stadium remains in good condition for the game of the night.

The Mexican National Team will have to face Honduras in San Pedro Sula, one of the most complicated places in recent years for the Aztec team, where the catrachos have made the party bitter on more than one occasion, although for this match the public will not be present due to a sanction imposed by FIFA.

El Tri is obligated to get the three points in sole or Honduran. “La Bicolor” marches in the last position of the Octagonal Final, but has become a judge for these final matches. The “Catrachos” come from equaling one goal with the Panama team as a visitor.

If Mexico wins, El Tri advances to the World Cup in Qatar 2022 and will join the 19 classified, among which are Brazil, Germany, Argentina, England, who entered their name in the World Cup.

The match will be played this Sunday 27 in March. The duel between Mexicans and Hondurans will take place at the Metropolitan Olympic Stadium in San Pedro Sula.
