Hispanic allegedly driving drunk; she crashed and in the accident her girlfriend died before they saw them leave a bar

HOUSTON – Witnesses saw them leave a bar together in the northwest of the city before the vehicle they were traveling in ended up involved in a Mortal accident.

Authorities responded to a fatal accident on the block of Telge in Cypress.

According to preliminary information, the two people who were traveling in the car had a sentimental relationship.

At abt 2: 09am, @hcso_vcd investigated a fatal crash at 12500 Telge (Cypress), involving one-vehicle. Driver Arely Razo (26) struck a raised curb, lost control of the vehicle, and struck a tree. A female passenger was found with no signs of life. Razo was taken to a hospital 1/2 pic.twitter.com/1uuUpprw1l

The authorities identified the driver as Arely Razo , aged 26 years old, who apparently showed signs of intoxication. A witness claims to have seen them leaving a bar.

Investigators said the driver collided with a raised curb causing her to lose control of the vehicle and end up crashing into a tree.

Upon arrival, the emergency teams found the passenger with no vital signs. Razo was taken to the hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening.

Razo was arrested for involuntary manslaughter for driving under the influence of alcohol.
