Oklahoma woman shot her brother in self-defense after a heated argument

The Tulsa Police Department received an emergency call where a woman said she had been shot to his relative, after a strong argument, which forced them to attack each other with firearms.

When the authorities arrived at the residence located on East 50th Street North, they made their investigation to find out what had happened between the two brothers. According to information provided by the agents, both were arguing strongly, when it got out of control and the brother pulled out a firearm.

Tulsa Police Lieutenant Kelvin Williams explained through the Tulsa Word newspaper , that the man started shooting against his own sister, but no bullet was embedded in it. So, the woman took advantage of that moment to look for her firearm and shoot him, who was hit in the leg.

The medical services took the man to a hospital to treat his wounds and s is free of any health problem. The identity of both brothers was not revealed by the municipal authorities.

Lieutenant Williams commented to the same media outlet: “I really think based on the information we gathered, this will be more of a self-defense”. Everything indicates that no investigation will be followed.

The brother who was shot, will not file charges against your family member, who was unharmed after the family discussion.
