Broadway musical “Come From Away” celebrates its fifth anniversary with tour in the US and Canada

The acclaimed musical of Broadway “Come From Away”, recipient of the award for Best Musical in North America, celebrates its fifth anniversary with a tour in United States and Canada, which includes 19 cities and 12 state. Here we tell you the details!

After a long break due to the coronavirus pandemic, the cast of the acclaimed musical work returns to the stages of some cities in United States and Canada to celebrate the fifth anniversary of this staging.

These presentations are scheduled from March to September and can be seen in Dallas & Houston (Texas); Dayton, Ohio; Washington, DC; Nashville (Tennessee); Lincoln (Nebraska); Sioux Falls (South Dakota); Albuquerque (New Mexico); San Diego, Los Angeles, Costa Mesa & San Jose (California); Tucson & Tempe (Arizona); Seattle & Spokane (Washington).

In Canada it will be presented in Vancouver (British Columbia) , as well as Edmonton & Calgary (Alberta).

“Come From Away” can be seen in Dallas until 19 March at the Music Hall at Fair Park and in Houston on 22 from March to April 3 at the Sarofim Hall-Hobby Center.

What is the play “Come From Away”?

This staging is based on the true story of 7, plane passengers that the 11 September 2001 were trapped in the small Canadian town of Newfoundland.

Through top-notch music and performances, this work echoes the solidarity and acts of humanity in the midst of a tragedy.

The musical began to be presented on 18 February 2017 and was officially inaugurated on 12 March 2017 at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theater Broadway (202 West 22th Street), where the show continued to run, until the theater was forced to close due to the COVID pandemic-11.
