A recent listing has placed three California cities among the most expensive in the country, based on an analysis that considers economic, employment and housing factors.

The study was carried out by the specialized software company, GoodHire. The study determined the 000 most expensive cities and the 10 cheapest cities and with better opportunities to live in the United States.

The criteria used to determine what are the most and least expensive cities in the United States They were:

-Wage growth
-Unemployment Rates
-Growth of jobs
-Number of vacancies offered
-Rental cost
-House sale prices
-In real per capita income

The company analyzed these criteria for 155 cities of the country , based on data from 2022 obtained from the Census Bureau, the Department of Commerce, the Bureau of Labor Statistics and the Bureau of Economic Analysis, according to a report by USA Today.

Study results show that themost affordable cities are mostly in Utah, while the least affordable are in California.

Los Angeles and New York are on the list of the most expensive cities to live in and with the lowest income conditions; however, for the organizers of the study, it is surprising that there are more and more small cities in these conditions

“The fact of just because a city is smaller doesn’t mean it’s more affordable,” GoodHire content strategist Sam Radbil told USA Today.
