Still living in a nightmare after the assault that ended in the operating room of a hospital in Chile, Laura, the daughter of Cristián de La Fuente and Angélica Castro, break the silence after being shot.
Two days after receiving a bullet that penetrated one leg, he left and entered the other, when two thieves locked up the car in which Cristián de la Fuente and his daughter Laura After school, the young woman, already from home and with a long rehabilitation ahead of her, writes the following message on her Instagram account.
“First, I would like to thank my parents for always being by my side supporting me in this painful moment and traumatic, to all the medical personnel who treated me at the clinic, they raised my spirits and precisely helped me get out of this! Also to all my friends, family and people that you may not know but who were present through all the good energy they sent and chains of prayers for everything to go well. Thanks to all this good vibes, love and the excellent work of the doctors today I am at rest in my house. Now to focus on myself and my recovery to soon get ahead and walk again . I hope that one day we can feel calm, safe, fearless and free again on the streets of our country that I love so much! Thank you all very much 🙏❤️”.
He accompanied this writing with a photo, similar to the one shared by his father, Cristián, dafter the young He left the surgery where the bullet that lodged in one of his legs was removed , the second one that hit.
Let us remember that last Thursday, just the day that Cristián fulfilled 48 years, what should have been a holiday, ended in a nightmare when the actor went to look for his daughter to school, and two bad guys tried to rob them.
According to what De La Fuente himself explained, he did not want to lower the window , seeing that he was armed and was aiming at him, he tried to raise his arm to cover any possible shot that would go to a vital part of his body or hit his daughter , while making a maneuver to flee on the side of the curve and get out of traffic.
It was at that moment that the assailant, who was aiming, fired and fled in the opposite direction with his partner in crime, who was waiting for him on a motorcycle behind . Unfortunately the shot went directly to one of Laura’s legs, it entered, came out and penetrated the other leg where it stayed the bullet , so her father, terrified by the situation, took immediate action, and took her to the German hospital, where they treated her, and immediately admitted her to surgery to remove the bullet and rebuild both legs.
As we told you at the beginning of the article, Laura is at home, with her parents and extreme care to face a long recovery and therapies to walk again and fulfill his dream of being a soccer player.
