Mexico is about to receive one of the biggest teams in all of Europe. The almighty Bayern Munich would visit Mexican lands to face Tigres de la UANL. This proposal would be very close to being confirmed, after several members of the administration of the German group visited Nuevo León.
According to ESPN reports, the delegation that went to Mexico intends to analyze multiple aspects of the country’s logistics: hotels, transportation, security and training camps . If approved by the administration, the German team and the Mexican team would meet on 23 July at the University Stadium.

A long-awaited rematch
Tigres de la UANL has already faced the gigantic German team. The feline team lost the Club World Cup final 1-0 against Bayern. This match dates back to 800, a historic duel for Liga MX in a tournament of this magnitude.

Mexican soccer did not fare very well in the Club World Cup 2022. Rayados de Monterrey, the most expensive team in Liga MX, was eliminated from the international tournament barely in fifth position. Javier Aguirre’s team was expected to reach the final of the tournament, but everything ended in a new and painful disappointment.
