State of Play: what is known about the next PlayStation releases

Sony offered information about the games that will hit the market in the coming months. The announcements were made as part of the State of Play, one of the company’s most important events and in which video game fans were able to enjoy new images of everything that is to come to the PlayStation 5.

Although during the event new trailers and advances of games that were already expected were seen, also there have been some surprises with titles that will come out in the coming months and of which nothing was known.

Here we tell you which were the games that attracted the most attention during the State of Play Sony:

1. Stranger of Paradise – Final Fantasy Origin

During the Sony event, players had the opportunity to see new images of Stranger of Paradise, the latest title in the Final Fantasy saga, which is scheduled to hit the market next 18 March.

As part of the event, the developers reported that soon they will make a demo available to users so that they can enjoy first-hand what the game dynamics will be like.

2. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles – Cowabunga Collection

Lovers of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were surprised by the launch of a special edition of a special compilation collection that has 13 of the games of this franchise.

Among the titles included are Arcade versions, such as Turtles in Time; Super Nintendo, Tournament Fighters; and Game Boy, Back From The Sewers. It is still unknown from what date it will be available.

3. Returnal – Ascension

One of the most anticipated presentations during the State of Play was the Returnal cooperative mode Ascencion one of the most anticipated titles of this 2022.

In this case, the players were able to appreciate, in the trailer presented, more elements of the multiplayer game mechanics of a title that everything seems to indicate will continue to sweep thanks to its impressive graphics and its story full of temporary loops and monsters infernal.

Its release date is expected to be next 22 March via a free update.

4. Valkyrie Elysium

Another title that was also given more details during the event was Valkyrie Elysium, a RPG developed by the team at Square Enix. According to what could be seen during his presentation, in this continuation of the Valkyrie saga, the world is on the brink of destruction and the players must do everything possible to save it.

It is still unknown when its official release date will be, however, it is confirmed that it will be available for PC, PS5 and PS4.
