The career of the famous Jorge “El Burro” Van Rankin has had few critical moments, because from a very young age he became one of the young people who transformed Mexican television with the program “El Calabozo”, together with Estaban Arce. Jorge has talked about how he was related to many important people outside their circles and to date, he has revealed passages that few knew of those times. Now, he accepted that he became ashamed of his humble origins; he confessed this during the “Montse & Joe” program, hosted by Montserrat Oliver and Yolanda Andrade.
Van Rankin recalled that it all started when his father He agreed to put him in a club called Britania, where he met many young people like him, but they were “sharp”. However, he showed off his maturity after mentioning that now he tells it and “I don’t care… I felt sorry for others. And if I lived in a hovel, I don’t care… too. This is me, do you want me like this or not… This is me”.
This moved Montserrat and Yolanda so much that they gave her a loud applause, because Jorge “El Burro” Van Rankin was about to burst into tears, perhaps because he remembered other episodes that he did not dare to reveal at that time.
Legarreta’s affair with Jorge “El Burro” Van Rankin
Luis Miguel’s former friend has drawn the attention of the spotlight after he assured in the last broadcast of “Members Al Air“, a program of which he is a part, in which the host reveals that he hooked up with Andrea Legarreta on a club night.
However, Jorge stressed that this happened long before that Andrea was with Erik Rubin, for which Jorge “El Burro” assured that the television presenter fell in love with him after he said a phrase that Legarreta could not resist and danced with him all night.
“I hooked up with Legarreta, in a club… I didn’t even know my dear Erik. I arrived and in two seconds he was dancing with me”, declared the driver of 58 years old, who at the beginning of 2021 was fired from the program ‘Hoy’.
