Everyone went crazy when, in the midst of a pandemic, Aislinn Derbez and Mauricio Ochmann announced that their relationship had come to an end. For that moment they made it clear that they got along wonderfully as friends and they also showed it on their social networks. But now, Mauricio Ochmann has confessed that it was he who decided to separate from Eugenio Derbez’s daughter, Aislinn Derbez , seeing that couples therapy was not giving results and that living together was perhaps not the healthiest thing for both of them.
“In my case, because everyone experienced it differently, I had to be the one who at one point turned to Aisslin Derbez and I told him: “I think we’re on different paths and I think we’ve pushed for five, six years. We have a wonderful daughter, we adored each other. I love you very much, you me too. There is a genuine love, but I have to let you grow and live your process, and I have to live mine and we are getting in the foot’”, he told her very honestly Mauricio Ochmann to Yordi Rosado admitting that It was he who decided to take the reins and give the first pass in the separation with Aislinn Derbez.
This is how, a short time later, Mauricio Ochmann and Aislinn Derbez announced the end of two years of marriage and almost six years of relationship. Already when her wounds seemed to have healed, Aislinn herself spoke about her on her podcast: “We are no longer compatible mentally. But that doesn’t mean I don’t want it.”
Mauricio Ochmann believes that forcing the relationship was a big mistake. At the same time, he assured Yordi Rosado that, to this day, they are still closer than ever. “We talk every day. She leans on me and I on her, and we have created a beautiful friendship, a family and a very father bond. I want her to be happy and she wishes me the same”, assured the actor.
