Russian government says the change of venue for the UEFA Champions League final is a “shame”

The situation in Ukraine after the military invasion of Russia, has made the UEFA take action on the matter and make the decision to change the venue of the final that was scheduled to be played in Saint Petersburg.

After the decision adopted by the governing body of European football, the Russian government described the decision as “a shame” by moving the venue from the Krestovski Stadium to the Stade Saint-Denis in Paris, where it will finally be the place to meet the European champion.
