TelevisaUnivision is no longer just an announcement of the merger of both companies into a new one, but also today they revealed that they are already working on their first production: the second season of ‘Tu Cara Me Suena’, which will be seen simultaneously in both countries.

Yes, for the first time it will not be seen a few weeks later in the United States, as when the production was carried out on Televisa, nor vice versa. Nor will the reality show be recorded on Televisa, as usually happens, but in the Miami studios.

“ This is an exciting time for TelevisaUnivision as we present a new season of the hit competition ‘Tu Cara me Suena’, our first simulcast in the US and Mexico… It will be the first of many exciting new productions we have on the way this year. We focus on offering live programming that brings the most captivating and entertaining content to our audience”, Luis Silberwasser, President, TelevisaUnivision US Networks Group.

What will be the difference from the previous season? For now they announced that repeat the presenters, they will again be Ana Brenda Contreras and Rafael Araneda , despite that, supposedly, last year they would have had several crashes because the Chilean driver would not have given his partner space to show off in his debut as host.

Although not officially announced, Charytín Goyco, Kany García, and Angélica Vale would remain on the jury, the latter also as coach of the famous participants. In the case of Jesús Navarro, apparently it would be the one that would not yet be confirmed.

The balance between the taste of both countries would be between the 8 famous participants.

“The second season promises to offer families another unforgettable experience filled with all-new entertainment, amazing transformations and impressive performances by a stellar cast. The successful franchise features eight prominent celebrity contestants, who will transform into musical idols each week. After extreme changes of appearance to sing live, the contestants will pretend to be emblematic artists and will choose their favorite charity”, says the statement sent by the advertising department of TelevisaUnivision.

When will it start? Although they haven’t given the official date yet, it would be in mid-March . For now, here we share the promotional video.
