An intense heat advisory was issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) beginning at noon this Wednesday and continuing through weekend for most of Southern California.
A wave atypical of high temperatures occurs in the middle of winter, with a warming trend throughout the region due to the predominance of high atmospheric pressure .
Intense winds will continue on Wednesday and Thursday in the region, with gusts that can exceed 45 miles per hour.
Los Angeles and Orange counties will be dominated by sunny skies with a temperature forecast above 68 degrees, while at night it will be above 50 degrees.
For the Sunday, on the day of the Super Bowl, the temperature at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood could reach 88 degrees.
In Riverside County, the weekend will be quite hot, exceeding 85 grades and achieved the 91 on Sunday.
In the valleys and Inland Empire the sun will shine at its maximum, increasing the temperature near the 87 degrees. The increase in heat generated a risk of fires in the region.
The coasts will have thermometers that could exceed 80 degrees, while it will descend to 55 during the night.
The mountains will have more pleasant temperatures, but also with a warming trend. Thermometers may approach 55 degrees, while the cold will be present during the nights when the temperature drops to 20 degrees.
On Sunday, Anaheim recorded the hottest temperature in the entire United States, reaching a record temperature of 85 degrees.
