The always controversial Tyson Fury heated up the atmosphere in the boxing world again after directing attacks against Anthony Joshua

, whom he considers “useless”.

“Joshua is a useless old bum. As soon as he stepped forward, he got a chin, then he went to America, where the real fighters are, and a fat kid (Andy Ruiz) knocked him out two weeks early.” Tyson Fury

In conversation for ESPN , the unified heavyweight champion of the WBA, IBF, WBO, IBO and The Ring Magazine considered that Joshua will not be able to beat the Ukrainian Oleksandr in his next fight Usyk: “Your career is over”.

The Fury’s assessment of Usyk was also low. He considers him a “very talented” cruiserweight fighter but one who is “punchable” and therefore not at his level.

The public awaits “the biggest fight in British boxing” between Fury and Joshua

From 32 Y 33 years respectively, boxing fans are still waiting for the long-awaited battle between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury, considered as the “biggest clash in British boxing”.

The 12 from December to 2020 Anthony Joshua defeated the Bulgarian Kubrat Pulev by technical knockout (KO) and there began the rumor of a dream match against Fury. After the fight he declared that he wanted a challenge and considered ‘Gipsy King’ as “no big deal”.

Fury released a video on social media in response to Joshua’s comments, saying, “Well there you have it, Joshua just took a shit live on TV. They asked him if he wanted the fight and he came around the bushes and put his ass on the edge. I want the fight! I want the next fight! I’ll knock him out in three rounds! He is a big bum.”

Finally the promotions of both fighters signed a pre-contract that did not specify details such as date and place. If it weren’t for the legal appeal filed by Deontay Wilder for a rematch against Fury, the lawsuit would have already taken place.

After that the 31 May the WBO issued an instruction that Joshua would have to fight Usyk with an agreement for the fight to take place on 31 of May; for his part, Fury announced that he had signed a contract for a third fight with Wilder, which would take place in Las Vegas.

Fury won and knocked out Wilder, while Joshua fell to Usyk, which meant the second loss of his career.

Therefore the dream fight British is on hold until the promotions manage to talk again and give the green light to the big event.
