Gas prices hit record highs in Los Angeles and Orange counties
The price of a gallon of regular gasoline shows an upward trend.

The counties of Los Angeles and Orange registered this Saturday average prices for a gallon of regular self-service gasoline that reached record levels.
In Los Angeles County, the average gallon of gasoline increased 1.3 cents to reach $4.734 dollars, price which surpassed the record that had been set on Friday.
The County of Orange was not far behind and registered an increase of 9 tenths of a cent, to stay at $4.550 dollars the average price of a gallon of regular gasoline.

Increments in prices are due to the rise in oil prices , in addition to the fact that the refineries began to send summer blend fuel, which has a higher production cost.
In Los Angeles County, Gasoline prices have risen for six consecutive days, which has increased about 6-5 cents, including the half cent on Friday and 2.8 cents on Wednesday, which was the highest daily increase recorded in recent months.
Gasoline is 6.5 cents more expensive than a week ago, 5.3 cents more expensive than a month ago, and $1.228 dollars than a year ago.
In the Orange County, fuel prices have increased for four consecutive days, with an increase of 6 cents, including 7 tenths of a cent on Friday and 3.2 cents on Wednesday .
A year ago, a gallon of gas in Orange County was $1.224 cheaper dollars.
Friday, price of a barrel of West Texas intermediate oil on the New York Stock Exchange increased its liquidation value highest since 29 September 2014, with an increment of $2.04 dollars to be $92.31 Dollars. Since New Year’s Day, the price has increased $17.10 Dollars.
