Brazil will introduce six changes in the starting eleven that will be measured this Tuesday with Paraguay in Belo Horizonte for the sixteenth round of the World Cup qualifiers in Qatar with respect to the team that tied 1-1 on Thursday spent on your visit to Ecuador.

The changes determined by the Brazilian coach, Adenor Leonardo Bacchi ‘Tite’, mainly in the defensive sector, were in evidence during the training of this Monday in Belo Horizonte.

The planned changes must replace players sanctioned or who will be removed for having contracted covid.

Canarinha will not be able to field the side Emerson Royal, expelled in the game in Quito, or the center back Éder Militao, who will have to meet a sanction date for accumulation of yellow cards, yes, nor to the side Alex Sandro, who tested positive for covid.

Tite will also take advantage of the match to test possible substitutes for the flyers Casemiro and Fred and to continue with his change of goalkeepers and give Alisson a rest .

In the starting line-up for training this Monday, goalkeeper Éderson replaced Alisson; veteran winger Daniel Alves to Émerson Royal; defender Thiago Silva to Éder Militao, and winger Alex Telles to Alex Sandro, so Brazil will have four modifications in the five defensive positions.

In the center of the pitch Fabinho and Lucas Paquetá, who did not play against Ecuador due to suspension, will take the places of Casemiro and Fred, so Brazil will have a more offensive disposition, with two creatives, three forwards and only one holding midfielder in the forward positions.

Thus, Brazil will line up against Paraguay at the Mineirao stadium in Belo Horizonte the following starting line-up: Ederson; Daniel Alves, Marquinhos, Thiago Silva and Alex Telles; Fabinho, Coutinho and Lucas Paquetá; Raphinha, Vinicius Junior and Matheus Cunha.

In training this Monday, Tite’s guidelines for a maximum mobilization of his offensive players, whom he asked to constantly go up and infiltrate, mainly the youthful Vinicius Júnior on the left.

Tite had already anticipated in Tuesday’s press conference that he would introduce changes and that would line up younger players.

Of the 24 summoned for the matches with Ecuador and Paraguay, nine have performed less than ten times with the Canarinha and six have less than 24 years: midfielders Gerson and Bruno Guimaraes and attackers Antony, Rodrygo, Matheus Cunha and Vinicius Junior.

Brazil wants to prolong its unbeaten record in the South American qualifiers on Tuesday at the cost of a Paraguayan team with almost no options and that has gone six games without scoring a goal.

La Canarinha leads the classification of the South American qualifiers undefeated with 36 points. Their last loss in a knockout match was at 2015.

The numbers support Tite’s painting. He has the best attack, with 28 goals for; the best defense, barely five goals conceded; and is the leader in solos, with a balance of 11 wins, 3 draws.

Despite the modifications they have been testing, Tite admitted today that Neymar (excluded from the current call-up due to injury), Vinicius Junior and Lucas Paquetá “can play together” in what would be the eleven Canarinha gala at the World Cup in Qatar
