Aleyda Ortiz is left out of Univision and she herself, exclusively, confirms it for us: “The most difficult thing has been not having had the opportunity to say goodbye to my audience” , he tells us and tells us about what happened and what he hopes for his future.
Since the year began It was surprising not to see her presenting her ‘Gangas and Deals’ segment on ‘Despierta América’… Instead we do see Lourdes Stephan. At first we thought that Aleyda was on vacation, the time was right for them, but a month was suspicious.
As she herself told us in exclusive, we didn’t find out because they didn’t allow him to say goodbye to his audience , the one that despite not winning ‘ Look Who Dances’ by the vote of the judges, she was the favorite of the public, who in the votes chose her as the winner.
As if it were a coincidence number, 8 years after winning ‘Nuestra Belleza Latina’, the eighth reality queen most watched of Univision was left out of the network. As we told you at the beginning, it was Aleyda herself who confirmed it to us, assuring us that her contract had expired and the company, the new management decided not to renew it, leaving out of the new era one of the most beloved by the public, as we saw in the votes of ‘Mira Quien Baila’.
What happened?… “My contract with Univisión expired. A cycle of great growth has ended and I am grateful for all the opportunities “, she began by telling us.
Despite that, it seems that Aleyda has decided to take this test starting the year in a positive way and thus reveals it to us: “I am excited to start a new stage, and open to new experiences and challenges. As far as we could know this 31 January, Aleyda’s contract with Univision ended, the network’s new management would have decided not to renew her because, supposedly, they had not found a space for her.
Although, as we have just told you, the 31 was her last day, Aleyda would have been informed on 21 of January that there would be no renewal of his contract, that he would no longer do ‘Gangas and Deals’, and that he should already deliver his things because that was your last day.
In March of 2021, when she was participating in ‘Look Who Dances’, we interviewed Aleyda where two things caught our attention:
The first was the need to a new stage in his life, where ‘conformism’ no longer entered and he expressed it to us that way. “I think I have minimized myself over the years, like I managed to lose weight and like this is enough, I won ‘Nuestra Belleza Latina’ and I told myself : this is enough. I got into television and that’s enough, and now I wonder, why? Why do I have this mentality of putting a ceiling on my dreams?”
The second, your dreams so different from what you were doing today, which ones? “I always imagined myself speaking, singing, acting and even dancing, why not. I want everything, I want to express myself everywhere”, he told us.
We communicate with Univision to have a reaction or answer as to why they decided to end their employment relationship with Aleyda Ortiz, but So far we have not received a response.
