Unstoppable on and off the pitch: Messi beat a personal brand on social media and boasted of it

Lionel Messi does not stop making history and breaking personal bests and records. And it is that the Argentine star not only exceeds his own limits within the field, but that outside of it he is also very influential and this was demonstrated after the new mark he reached on social networks.

And it is that the PSG star managed to reach the surprising figure of 300 millions of people on Instagram, becoming the second athlete with the most followers, only behind Cristiano Ronaldo who has 395 millions.

After reaching the impressive figure, the PSG footballer made an emotional publication thanking all his followers for reaching such a mark, positioning himself as one of the most influential within the social network.

“We are already 300 millions!! Always grateful for all your support, hugs!!”, Messi wrote accompanying the message of some of his photos with more likes.

Despite having reached such a figure, he is still quite far from his main rival in the field, Cristiano Ronaldo, because the difference, of 95 millions, continues to mark a significant gap. As mentioned above, the Portuguese is the person with the most followers within the social network, while Messi is in third place, behind the Manchester United player and Kylie Jenner (306 million followers).
