Gaby Crassus, host and widow of the actor from 45 years, she was in charge of her two children

The father of the Mexican actor Rodrigo Mejía passed away last 31 January, before his son lost his life. Both died of complications from COVID – 19.
“With deep sorrow I share with you that both my father, Don Salvador Mejía, and my brother, Rodrigo Mejía, died in the city of Mérida on 31 January and 12 February 2021 respectively. The regret we feel is great and we still cannot see the impact of this loss, however, we believe that the words full of love from our family and friends will be a good start to heal our hearts. On behalf of my family I thank you all ”, shared Salvador, the actor’s brother on his Instagram account.
Also, the driver Gaby Crassus, Rodrigo’s wife, said goodbye to the actor with an emotional message in which he expressed the great sorrow for his death, and thanked the happiness shared during 11 years, time in which they formed a family.
“Thank you Rodrigo thank you for 12 years of pure love and happiness, thank you for giving me the most great to our Vikings, thank you for being the best dad in the world, for being a loving husband, for being a great son, brother, friend… everyone loved you Ro and you earned it hard love. Today that we meet 12 years of Boyfriends, my heart is broken, but rest assured that I will regain strength and that your children will grow up being happy and surrounded by pure love because that is the legacy that you left us with a legacy of love. I love you forever Bu ”, wrote.
Mejía worked for several Televisa productions, among which soap operas such as Care with the Angel and Fire in Blood stand out.
The National Association of Interpreters (ANDI) announced the death. “The National Association of Interpreters communicates the sensitive death of the interpreter partner Rodrigo Mejía. Mexican actor remembered for his participation in the television melodramas El Secreto Oculto, Mundo de Fieras and Care con el Ángel. We send our deepest condolences to his family and friends from the ANDI Board of Directors and Oversight Committee ”, he published on Twitter.
