The New York Police Department ( NYPD ) revealed the identity of “The Ripper” who ravaged Line A for two days, claiming the lives of two people and wounding two more.
It is about Rigoberto López, of 21 years, who is located as a homeless person.
“The following person was arrested in connection with the stabbing incidents that occurred in the Metro along line A” said the NYPD, which later provided López’s name.
The young man is a Brooklyn resident, as indicated, and faces five charges, including two for homicide and two for attempted homicide .
The New York Post advanced Saturday night the capture of the homeless man, but his identity had not been revealed, au nthat a source of the NYPD described some details.

The capture occurred on Saturday afternoon, after two days of assaults that began on Friday morning, when López attacked a man from 67 Years I was walking on the southbound platform of Street Station 181 in Washington Heights.
