If anyone has been harshly criticized in Italy it is the Mexican midfielder Hirving “Chucky” Lozano. The poor performance of Napoli in the fight to win the Italian Serie A falls on his shoulders due to his character as a figure.
Liberato Ferrera, respected journalist Italian, recently described Lozano as an “imbecile, package and fiasco” and that Napoli “threw money” by buying a “normal player”.
But Chucky is not daunted, his performance and commitment to the Italian club has been shown in recent training sessions . Even four days after those unfortunate statements against him, Chucky scored a great goal to give the Naples club victory.
But he also speaks outside the Lozano courts. The one born in Mexico City expressed in an interview for the newspaper Corriera della Sera that his club is going for the title and believes in the idea of coach Luciano Spalletti, despite the rain of criticism for the latest results.

About the competition that Napoli can get against Inter and Milan, assured that are able to arrive first regardless of the tough competition for the ‘Scudetto’:

Curiously Chucky did not mention Juventus as a rival to beat , the Vechia Signora is going through a bad time in terms of its level and quality of play after the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo to Manchester United.
Signed by 14 million euros from PSV Eindhoven in 2020, the Mexican has seen how Carlos Ancelotti and Gennaro Gattuso have passed through the coaching seat; with the latter he had problems at first.
But in the conversation with the Italian newspaper Lozano highlighted the rapport he has with Spalletti : “He motivates you a lot, he has experience and not only does he ask you to work, but he gives the example. He reproaches me, but I understand that he does it to improve me”.
Beyond Europe, Chucky will be available for Gerardo ‘Tata’ Martino in the matches of the Mexican team against Panama and Costa Rica for the Concacaf Qualifiers for Qatar 2022, but will miss the first of the triple date (Jamaica) due to accumulation of yellow cards .
