A few months ago a fierce conflict broke out between Julio César Chávez and Jorge Arce. The problem became bigger and bigger after the “Naughty” made fun of the addictions of the “Great Mexican Champion”. This upset Chavez’s daughter and fueled the war through social media. Time called everything and now Arce publicly apologized.

“He sent a big hug (to Julio César Chávez), may God bless him. I am a man who knows how to recognize mistakes. If he thinks I disrespected him, I publicly apologize with all my love and heart, but also for him to accept that he made a mistake. He offended me first”, Jorge Arce expressed to the podcast Un Round Más.

It all started as a result of some statements by Julio César Chávez. The former Mexican boxer said that “now any asshole is a world champion” and used Jorge Arce as an example . In this sense, these statements would have affected the daughter of the “Naughty”.

“ My daughter spoke to me and said ‘Hey dad, doesn’t Mr. Julio César Chávez love you very much? (…) Why do you express yourself like this? All my friends have made fun of me because Chavez says that my dad is an asshole ‘”, he revealed Jorge Arce to justify his anger and response through social networks.

At that time, Julio César Chávez defended himself by indicating that those statements were he did it simply to promote a fight. But the consequences of the same unleashed a great controversy that today “El Travieso” seems to want to cut short. Although visibly the most affected was the daughter of the “Great Mexican Champion”.
