Ana Lorena Sánchez was one of the protagonists of “Tierra de Reyes” alongside Aaron Diaz . After the telenovela on Telemundo and driving with Raúl González “Great Opportunity”, he left Miami. After starting over from scratch in Los Angeles and rediscovering herself during the pandemic, the actress will return to the screens of the Hispanic network with “La Mujer de mi Vida“

“I decided buy a one-way ticket to Los Angeles, and while in Los Angeles I started doing independent films. I did pilots, two pilots for two series, and it was starting to go really well for me and starting to establish incredible relationships at the work level, and two years after arriving in Los Angeles, the pandemic arrived, ”said the actress about what did since her last foray into a telenovela.

Ana Lorena learned to be happy with herself and, when she least expected it, the reward came.

“During the pandemic I dedicated myself to visiting myself and swinging, and I started exercising, to read. And just as life is giving you difficult lessons, it is also rewarding you and I got a casting for Telemundo, for a super fun character”.

The actress was left with the role of the protagonist’s sister.

“The story is about a super successful actress, who is the character of Angélica Celaya, who is called ‘Daniela Millán’ and is married to ‘Ricardo’, who is Iván Sánchez, and by chance, life separates them and, well, the usual struggle in soap operas when the protagonists can and cannot be together.

“And I arrived precisely at a time when the protagonists are experiencing a very strong conflict, and my character comes to untie certain knots so that things flow.”

Behind the scenes, the Mexican has been able to share with one of his childhood idols.

“They tell me about the cast I’m going to work with and, obviously, I get very excited; but Mauricio Islas particularly caught my attention, because I remember when I was little that my lifelong platonic love was Eduardo Palomo (for ‘Corazón Salvaje’).

“Some time later a soap opera called ‘Amor Gitano’ came out, starring Mariana Seoane with Mauricio Islas and his character was called ‘Renzo’. He was a gypsy who was a hottie, handsome, spectacular and divine. And when they tell me that I’m going to work with Mauricio Islas, I talk to my mom and say ‘mom, I’m going to work with Renzo!’, hahaha, good!

“My character and his character do not get along and not only do they not get along but they are not seen throughout the novel, hahaha! But, it does not mean that Mauricio did not get into our scenes, because he dedicated himself to scaring everything the cast, although the worst scare among Mauricio’s was Angélica’s.

“She got into a coffin and I was walking into the set very happy and concentrated for my scene and she left the coffin and it gave me a terrible scare! I think that to date I still haven’t recovered, hahaha! Imagine! If that’s what happened behind the scenes, in front of the cameras, well, pure fun!”
