The interpretation that Lady Gaga plays the convicted murderer Patrizia Reggiani in the film “House of Gucci” -which is rumored to be worth her first award Oscar as an actress- would have included a totally unexpected twist if she had gotten away with it.
The pop star maintains that her character had a relationship of a sexual nature in real life with her medium and seer Giuseppina ‘Pina’ Auriemm , to whom she gives life Salma Hayek, and got the director of the film, Ridley Scott, allowed them to shoot an intimate scene that would be seen later that Maurizio Gucci was murdered by a hitman hired by Patrizia.
“There is a very different side of the film that nobody has come to see, in which Pina and I develop a sexual relationship. He may appear in the director’s cut, who knows… It says a lot about Ridley as a director that he allowed us to explore that option. I remember I was on set with Salma and I commented: ‘Maurizio dies and maybe… the situation will heat up?’ And she didn’t understand what he was talking about,” Gaga revealed in a new interview shared by the Instagram account “Pop Crave”. In case it had not been clear, her co-star clarified that the singer is not joking, and the aforementioned insisted that hopes that this scene will happen meet someday.
