The XV of France, despite a difficult start to the match against Ireland, “Managed to rectify the situation, without panicking”
to sign his first success in Dublin since 2011 , Sunday during the Six Nations Tournament, appreciated the French coach Fabien Galthié.
Rarely have you been seen with such bright eyes at the end of a match for your team…
These matches , it’s always a lot of emotions, especially when it ends positively. We relax a bit and think about more essential things. When we speak in front of viewers, in the current circumstances we want to transmit the good energy, to unite around a cause which is simply sport. But we think of all these children who cannot play rugby, cannot go to the stadiums. We try to make sense of what we do. We are moved… with joy of course.
Like success in Cardiff, do you feel that it counts in building your team too?
Of course ! It’s our 17 e week spent together since the previous Tournament, our th match. We had prepared twelve but the match against Fiji (in the fall) had been canceled . The collective experience is important then we prepare the matches with a lot of ambition. We come to the matches ready. And today we were ready to face the Irish. So it’s interesting to lay the stages on this arrow of time and go through them. These matches are not an end. I am sure that the team will continue to progress on this path.
